Artistic and technical abilities are already manifested at the earliest childhood age. That's why, alongside the established drawing pads and sketchbooks, we have designed a product ideal for pre-school and younger school children – a drawing book. Its sturdier paper makes it suitable for kindergartens and first grades of elementary schools and for children to hone their art skills with their parents at home. It is lighter and cheaper than a drawing pad.
For more experienced artists, the drawing book will offer good quality white wood-free paper for visual notes where colour matters in case that tinted sketch paper causes unwanted distortion. You can use it for dry drawing techniques with pencil, charcoal, crayons, wax crayons, or chalk. Thanks to its light weight, you'll also appreciate it on trips for inspiration.
The drawing books are available in A3 and A4 sizes, and they are made of snow-white, wood-free paper with the weight of 140 g/m2. We have reinforced the spine with a spine tape, and the sheets of paper are held together by a thin layer of glue for easy tearing off.
TIP: For the youngest children who are just starting to draw, tear the paper off before drawing – so that they do not draw through several sheets at once with a sharp, strong pull from the side. Alternatively, use a drawing carton.
